"Trib" as he is affectionately known by his family, is out of the lovely Dahmah Shahwaniya, successful halter mare, Bint Ishmael of the El Dahma family via the *Bint Bint Sabbah branch. Bint Ishmael's sire was pure in strain Dahman Shahwan through the United States National Champion English Performance mare, *Bint Maisa El Saghira, dam of Shaikh Al Badi and the ethereal beauty, Amaal. Bint Ishmael's dam, Akidayadi Marsafa was a multiple Class A Hunter Pleasure Champion as well as Halter Champion Mare. Trib is sired by the 1995 United States and Canadian National Champion Stallion AOTH, an Egyptian Event Supreme Champion Stallion and Regional Dressage Training Level One Champion, Abraxas Halimaar, who is also a sire of 93 foals including numerous champions in both performance and halter including the incredibly beautiful mare, TF Quisara, who has so captured everyone who see's her, they are able to visualize her as if she is standing in front of them at that very moment and Halimeer, a multiple Class A Halter champion. Halimaar's Tribute comes by his beauty and athleticism honestly and he is through no mistake, but a carefully planned breeding - [click here to visit his website]. His training has been managed with the utmost of skill by Debbie Shelton of Lawson, MO according to Trib's owner, and has contributed to his successes in the show ring. |

Having seen this horse in the flesh, I am quite comfortable saying Halimaar's Tribute is an extraordinary straight Egyptian stallion performance-wise with many talents. He seems happy, playful, full of spark and pizzazz. It was easy to recognize how straight his legs are from the front and behind with no noticeable offsets - physical assets the Straight Egyptian arabians need. But what strikes me most about him being kept and used as a stallion are his short coupling and strength of loin, a physical trait that many Straight Egyptians could benefit from. Tribute is a smooth bodied horse with excellent overall balance within a squared frame. He’s handsome both at liberty and under saddle looking every bit a stallion with good masculinity and substance - as a stallion should be. His halter physique is admirable and he comes by his phenotypical expressions naturally. Another attribute I admire - that being of exceptionally good character - this horse is a family member and outwardly expresses himself as such. It's so nice to see a stallion that is happy doing his job, rather than trying to eat you. He represents the Dahman horse well and I liken him to the physical expressions of the great El Hilal. Having seen him in the flesh at the Egyptian Event more than once - every time thinking what an appropriate horse to maintain as a stallion for all the right reasons - reasons I’ve mentioned above. He embodies traits wherein everything is placed and sized exactly as and where it should be with no “extremes”. It's folks like these with horses like this that make the rest of us look good! ~ writtten by Elizabeth Dieter |
